U Dinesh Kumar is a Professor in Decision Sciences Area and also the Chairperson of DCAL at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB). Dinesh Kumar holds a Ph.D in Mathematics from IIT Bombay and has over two decades of teaching and consulting experience. He has been recognized as one of the Top 10 most prominent analytics academicians in India for his extensive research in big data analytics.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar has spearheaded the analytics education industry in India. IIMB was one of the first education institute in the country to offer a regular long-term certification program on Business Analytics & Intelligence (BAI) in the year 2010. Professor Kumar regularly conducts corporate training programme in Analytics and has trained many professionals in the field of analytics in the last 11 years.
He has published more than forty case studies on Business Analytics and Machine Learning Algorithms based on Indian and multinational organizations at Harvard Business Publishing. He has authored 4 books and his most recent book titled “Business Analytics – The Science of Data Driven Decision Making” has been recommended by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Naveen Kumar Bhansali an adjunct faculty and alumni of IIM Bangalore, has 15+ years of industry experience as advisory consultant, senior solution architect and data scientist in Data Science, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Big Data and Automation Platform for various domains/verticals such as insurance, health-care, telecom, retail, FMCG, e-commerce, and IT – Exchange & Storage across the globe, mainly South America, Europe and Asia

Roopa is a passionate data veteran and comes with two decades of experience solving complex problems in the area of Data & Analytics for TCS customers across the globe. She has played roles of developer, designer, solution architect and advisor and has seen the entire lifecycle of data starting from creation till consumption. Her core expertise is in the area of Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Modeling and Data Quality.
She is keen on innovations in the area of data & analytics and has several TCS IP based solutions to her credit.
She currently leads AI-ML initiatives for Data Management at TCS and is also pursuing a PhD in Responsible AI.
