Deepika Sandeep is a seasoned leader in the field of analytics, machine learning and natural language processing. Currently, she is heading AI and ML program at BLP Clean Energy, a start-up operating in the space of renewable energy generation, management and Industry 4.0. In her current role, she devises data and AI strategy for the organization and leads the analytics practice for predictive, prescriptive and preventive maintenance of assets in solar, wind farms and heavy industries, energy management solution development and so on. Prior to this, she was instrumental in AI product development across domains like automotive manufacturing, healthcare, real estate and social media. She holds a Master's degree from IIT Madras and several publications in her field of expertise. Deepika is a recipient of "Women in AI leadership" award, by Analytics India Magazine and Jigsaw Academy. She is also a recognized leader in the renewable energy sector and is ranked in 40 under 40 most promising leaders in Indian solar industry. She is a regular speaker at various analytics conferences and meetups - both on AI in general and specific to the field that she works in. She mentors new entrants into the field of analytics, in industry and academia, through various initiatives such as Machine Learning Crash Course programme by Google and NITI Aayog and those by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
