Kiran is currently Senior Director for the Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences CoE in Enterprise Data Analytics group of VMware. He has been with VMware for the last 5 years. Prior to this, he has played a variety of analytics and ML leadership roles at Flipkart, Amazon, Dell and Motorola. He got the Innovator of the year award from Michael Dell in person in 2012, has two issued US patents and two filed US patents, two authored Harvard Business Publishing case studies on analytics and accepted papers in top journals like Expert Systems. Kiran is passionate about ML both at work and outside of it. He is a Kaggle Competitions grandmaster with a top rank of 7 WW. He is a prize winner in the KDD Data Mining Cup in 2014. Kiran is a computer science engineer with a MBA from IIMK.
