Dr Mathirajan’s research interests are in the development of mathematical modelling and heuristic methods for the problems related to Industrial Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing, Service, Container Terminal Management areas and Research Methodology. He has published over 200 research articles. He is a co-author of 2 books and co-author of 4 edited volumes. Very recently, Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) Society Internationa presented “Outstanding Research Award” to Dr. Mathirajan in recognition and appreciations of leadership and significant contributions to research and service to the IEOM profession.
