Amit Kapur

Amit Kapur is the Vice President, Data Analytics & AI at Lowe’s. As part of the global technology leadership team, Amit leads the global data and analytics team which is modernizing and building futuristic data and AI ecosystems. He is responsible for strategizing and building data analytics and AI platform tools and products at scale for Lowe’s.

He joined Lowe’s in 2014 and has been instrumental in setting up the Lowe’s India center, along with several capabilities such as the Lowe’s Omni-Order Management, Enterprise Order Repository and Modern Data ecosystem. Amit is a seasoned technology leader with a strong background in data, product and engineering. Prior to joining Lowe’s, he worked with Sony and held leadership roles at Oracle, I-Gate and Ispat. He is council member in Analytics India Magazine and active speaker in many of Industry forums.

Amit grew up in the beautiful hill town, Shimla, in North India. Amit pursued his Bachelor of Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal one of the top engineering colleges in the country and completed his MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. Amit is a sports lover, and sports has played a huge influence on his personal and professional life.
