Prof. Pulak Ghosh

Pulak Ghosh is currently a tenured faculty at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). As one of the leading “Tech Statistician & Economist”, his research and policy work focuses on how to use technology, digital intelligence and social science to improve the effectiveness of corporates and policy; and spans over topics in AI, Policy, Economics and Fintech. He has published in top journals including, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of the American Statistical Association, Biometrika. Prof. Ghosh has won several awards including best fintech paper award at Western Finance Association; distinguished alumni award from Oakland University, Prof. C. R. Rao National Award in Statistics, Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis Memorial Award in Econometrics, and Young Scientist Award by International Indian Statistical Association.
